do not, i mean do not, use a golden brown, that will make the orange tones come through.

you need to purchase a medium ASH brown because it tones out orange tones, which is what i use because i was in the same situation as you. If your wanting a darker brown, go for the dark ASH brown, but if you want a lighter brown, then mix an ASH BLONDE with the medium ASH brown, and it should do the trick!!
