My hair was brown then I dyed it a really ugly red on Saturday?

I say be patient, I just did the same thing and after a few days it faded into the most beautiful aburn! Keep washing it and it may turn into something you love!

Dye it brown again or wait for in to grow out

My hair was brown then I dyed it a really ugly red on Saturday?

yes it would probably. how bad is the red? try it out for a couple days and see if u end up liking it. if not u could try a dark brown wig?? hope this helps

My hair was brown then I dyed it a really ugly red on Saturday?

no! as long as you go darker and dont use any peroxide or bleach , you will be fine. next time....do a strand test and make sure you like it before you do your whole head :)

My hair was brown then I dyed it a really ugly red on Saturday?

yes my dear!

Try washing it a few times, you might like it. If not go to the salon.

My hair was brown then I dyed it a really ugly red on Saturday?

why would you die your hair anywayz

My hair was brown then I dyed it a really ugly red on Saturday?

yes,it well

Unfortunately, red is THE hardest color to get out. I would consult a professional stylist.

My hair was brown then I dyed it a really ugly red on Saturday?

yes don't do it you need too wait 6to8 weeks.

My hair was brown then I dyed it a really ugly red on Saturday?

i think that you hair would look ugly if u put that in ur hair

My hair was brown then I dyed it a really ugly red on Saturday?

it will be ok just keep washing it and if then you still don't like it then go buy the dark brown but i'm sure it will be all good.

My hair was brown then I dyed it a really ugly red on Saturday?

By "really ugly" do you mean like magenta or something?

If not, you might wait a few days and see if you like it more. I would suggest going to a professional if you don't want to damage your hair or further botch the dye job. Perhaps you can get golden or auburn highlights to improve the look, or an all-over color.

i did the same thing but my hair turned bright yellow it was going for a golden brown nobody told me not to out the booster in. but good thing was i didn't dry my hair i immediately died my hair dark brown that actually gave me the color i wanted. just keep washing your hair until it washes out but remember after all that washing to give yourself a hot oil treatment to put back all the moisture you've lost.

sometimes i get my hair profesionally colored and end up not liking it but then i find that if i wait a couple days and wash out some of the color it turns out being a color i end up liking and you could just let the color fade so much that it goes back to the color you had hope this helps

You should not re-dye your hair, this could cause loss of hair or damage to your hair. What you should do is wait a couple of days. Red molecules are larger than other color molecules, and will lose color and fade quicker than others, so if you wait for a little while, it will fade to a browner, more auburn shade. Good luck!!

best bet is to let a professional fix it. if you can't afford that, go to sally's and get a semi- or demi- permanent (careful not to go too dark) medium brown neutral color (no warm, as it will add more red to your hair). if you get ash, you run the risk of there being too much green, and your hair going green. i hate ash colors. neutral will keep some of the red, and let some of it shine through, so you will have a nice warm brown. if you want less red, get a neutral ash base, so you won't run as much of a risk with the ash. just read the directions on the color, as demis have to be mixed with a special developer, but they last a long time. make sure you get a conditioning packet too; they usually have them at the counter. and don't forget gloves! lol. they usually have single pairs at the counter too.

good luck!

don't use a permanent colour as your hair is porous use a semi permanent it will grab just as well and you will get more shine....

PS.When it fades again you can just repeat

The good thing about red dye (if you hate it, that is) is that it is the quickest color to fade. I'd wash it with clarifying shampoo regularly to get rid of it as quickly as possible.

As for dying your hair again, I would first try a toner. Go to a beauty supply store and try it out before you add anything with "lift" in it. If that doesn't work, I'd get a low-ammonia, no peroxide formula (like Clairol Loving Care)

Just one more thing: If you're gonna use something with ammonia or peroxide, I'd wait a week or so before using it.

I've heard from my hair dresser that using Dawn dishsoap can help take the most color out of your hair. It will do that same thing as washing it for a week. Then if you still don't like it try the brown. But listen to what the hair dresser said about using ash tones, your hair can turn green.
