Dyed my hair DARK brown two weeks ago and it's already faded! HELPPPP?

I've been trying to wash it every two/three days to save the color using a COLORSAFE shampoo. I have also laid off the heat styling. Nevertheless, my hair has faded to a boring reddish medium brown from a gorgeous deep dark chestnut.

HELP PLEASE!

Dye fades in a few washes but what you can use is John Frieda Color Glaze in the brunette shade or John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette.

Dye your hair with a temporary dye. rinse out. Run to ur stylist and dye your hair your preffered color. this should open up your hair to let your hair obsoarb the dye.

You obviously loved your new color =/ %26amp; I'm sorry that happened to you. But it faded because you were washing it too much..

You should only wash your hair once every 2 days, so I suggest dying it back to that chesnut brown, and try not to wash your hair so much. %26amp; dont go into the sun right away.

If your hair was light, especially bleached, the color will fade quick. I had this same prob going from blonde to dark brown. I decide to leave it blonde and add highlights. You should choose a color close to your natural because it looks best. I've gone from white to black and everything in between during my "punk/indie" phase, it fries your hair. try to go more natural and you'll have better results
