Is it possible to non-permanently dye my hair light brown if my hair is really dark brown or black?

My hair is really dark brown,people might even say black but I really want to dye my hair light brown but i dont want to dye my hair permanetely .I like using dye that lasts for 28 shampoos.Can it still work?

I have the same problem but no. You have to bleach your hair (very risky) which could kill your hair. Then you add in the color. If you only get semi-permanent hair color then the color you added in will fade out and you will be left with orangey hair.

It's so much harder going from dark hair to light, it sucks.

No, not really.



You have to lighten your hair in certain places first, then go over it with a color.



If you don't like it, you can dye it darker to cover it. I had to do this once.



Going lighter is always best done professionally.
