i had the idea of dying my hair a mousey brown to lighten it and then work up the colour scale till im in the ash blonde dark blonde colours then bleach it blonde would tht work?please help my proms coming up

just go to the salon before you mess it up too much..

its not good to dye to many times in a row

if your hair is dark brown now, you will probably have to bleach it to lighten it up to blonde. i would go to a salon.

that would be the best way to do it, because if you go too light from very dark too soon, your hair may turn bright orange!

Do what you said you would and work your way up to very light!

Or, you could always just go to the hairstylist's and get it redone there.. they know what to do exactly to make it look gorgeous and natural so that your prom hair isn't dead and havoc!
