Dying my hair deep brown from deep blonde?

My natural hair color is a light/deep brown.

After the summer, some of my hair is lightened just a bit, into a light brown/blonde.

I decided to take home a coloring kit despite the lack of experience. I will do a strand test first to see how the color will turn out.

Any tips to remember?

when you die your hair you hair will always go lighter that is what happens wiht my hair. I die a dark brown comes out black then fades to a coolor that i like but then gos to a medium color. the best thing is to get your hair done in the salon.

eg. Olive oil hair mask, leave conditioner on for 20 mins

Just follow the directions included with the product you purchased.

After strand test is completed, and no negatives appear, get into some 'grubby' clothes and gloves, mix the product properly and follow the application instructions.

When that is all finished begin the 'timing' and finish with washing out the dye. Usually don't have to use a shampoo (it's built-in). If the product comes with a conditioner use it as instructed.
