Coloring my own hair, Dark Brown..Can i go wrong??

I have blonde hair right now. I colored it myself and it looks awful. It is very "brassy" and has a yellow tint to it. I swore i would never color my hair myself again. BUT money is tight and i can't afford to go to the stylist. Sooo If i go buy a Dark Brown haircolor to color my hair do you think i will mess it up? I know when going lighter you can cause orange and yellow tones to appear, but how can you go wrong when going darker?? I want to color it tonight, please help!!!

When you do go darker DONT use an ash brown. It will make you hair have a green tint. If I was you, I would go to a stylist though. I have to buy 2 boxes of dye. I got my hair colored, and cut, and my eyebrows waxed for 54 dollars!

call a salon %26amp; get their opinion. %26amp; also, dying your hair dark brown from blonde will turn it about black. ( i did that 2 yrs ago. )

dont just put a brown on it will turn it a horrible brown with a green tinge . put either a red on first then the brown or use a brown hair colour with a red tone to it good luck

it all depends.you cant really go wrong,unless the brand u use is sucky and can color your hair black and if your hair gets in chlorene,it can turn green, just make sure u use a reliable brand, and do it right and you cant go wrong!
