I just recently dyed my hair dark brown. Although the drugstore package said dark brown it turned out BLACK. I am in need to change it back to medium brown ASAP. Any other ways rather then bleaching. Any kits that are good I would love to know about supposedly from Walmart or Shoppers Drug Mart. Please help me out.

If its a permanent there's no other way other than striping the colour with chemicals I just went through the same thing with a semi permanent which was only dark brown to dark blonde

Wash your hair with dawn dish soap...it will fade the color.
I just read the comment below...
you can't put a lighter color on it because color can't lift color...and you might end up with hot roots (lighter roots than the rest of your hair).
