im getting my hair done at the salon but i was wondering if the dye would weigh down my hair or make my hair go pin straight.

i have natural wavy hair and a nice volume on the top.

would the dye affect my hair condition?

for my case, i had black pin straight hair. i dyed it red, then it came all frizzy and dry *sob* make sure to condition it everyday!

Your hair will probably have more body. When you go lighter you might have dryer hair, so make sure and condition it.

it might weigh down your hair slightly, but if i were u i would keep ur black hair. i would kill to have black hair.

Hair color doesn't change your hair type. The color might make your hair a little dry. But you can always condition it. Its not going to make your hair turn from curly to straight.
