I know that stylists tell you not to dye your hair from brown to blonde.. but my hair is very light brown and I only want to go a few shades lighter. This is my hair color now ...

Do you think it will turn orange? I don't think it will because my hair isn't very dark at all, but I'm afraid to risk it.

Go to a beauty supply shop before coloring and get a bottle of color corrector appropriate for your hair color and the color you are changing to...- offhand, I'd say the Red Gold Corrector Plus by Ardell would be the right choice for you. Read the directions and add the right number of corrector drops to the hair coloring and mix well before applying to your hair.

Color corrector prevents hair from turning orange or other colors other than the color you're applying.

It should turn out just fine!

ur hair looks dirty blonde to me so if you wanna go a few shades lighter it wont turn orange because ur going from dark blonde to lighter blonde... but only if it's ur natural hair color!! if thats dyed hair chances are it will be copperish

i wouldn't touch it...til after u've got ur period...it'll *** ur hair all up! then deep condition it 4 a month b4 u dye it...maybe hilite it 1st b4 u do the whole head?

It'll turn orange if you don't leave the dye in long enough, so make sure you leave it in for as long as it says, and check it. In fact, test it out with one tiny strand first so you can see how it turns out %26amp; make sure it's good, then do the rest. If it comes out brassy, you can go to Sally's or other beauty supply store %26amp; buy Shimmer Lights shampoo or something that will correct that, because they DO have it.

You shouldnt. I was dark brown and i went bleach blonde(so i could do pink underneath) and it was fine..and ive done it several times in the past to a "more natural" blonde. All times it came out a beautiful blonde although i did lighten my eyebrows a bit(get professional help) so it looks more natural.
