u should wear bright colours e.g. orange, blue, green! don't wear brown it doesn't show up! if ur wearing a lip colour then just wear black!

You can always go with the classic black. But, if you are looking to lighten your eyes, try a metallic blue or lavender eyeliner pencil.

Even though you've stated you're skin/hair/eye colour it's hard to say what colour eyeliner for you wear based on that info.

I don't think an eyeliner can make your eyes lighter. If you're really adamant about having light brown eyes why not try contact lenses?

Even with tanned skin it's difficualt to tell what tone of skin colour you have, try both light and dark colours and see what best suits you.I have the same colour combination as you and I prefer to keep my eyes dark with black eyeliner. It's more distinctive, i think.

Line your bottom lid with white eyeliner and use black on the top. I do this everyday because otherwise my eyes look like they are black!!!

Try a metallic bronze eye shadow and use it as a liner...that would look AMAZING!!! Use an angled brush (if you have one) or the pointed tip of a regular applicator. Start light and add it on as heavy as you like it....try to keep the line somewhat light but smear and blend it...you will love it.

I have the same features, dark hair and dark eyes. What i do is use black or silver eyeliner on the upper lid not the bottom. I find that putting eyeliner on the upper lid enhances my eyes. I also use 2-3 shades of eyeshadow to enhance also. I use a dark color near the inside corner, then i blend in a light color next to it towards the outside corner of my eyes, then I apply a very light shade above both colors in the arch of my eyes. Very nice and sexy. The colors can be whatever you want thay dont even have to match your clothes as long as they blend with each other.

Yay! i have exact same features, and it's hard to wear something quick and cute for summer - but a lot of people are giving you the advice for color, and i agree!

If i want to be fun one day - like going out or just to look like i just didnt wake up - i bought a creamy pretty blue eyeliner or you could do lavender/purple, or green looks great on brown eyed chics. Depends on if you line both lids - which i do, or just top. This is what i do on summer days -

Smear your concealor lightly all over your lid - to make sure color stays esp in summertime. Pull your upper lids tight (so you can line easier) and line with the blue (or whatever color) and line top and bottom lids. Then to give some definition, i lightly line the outside of both top and bottom lids with black going a little up and outward on top. Then i apply a shimmery white and apply to upper lids, and a little shimmery white on the bottom of my eye towards the inside, and a little towards the outside. This way you can have a cool color without having to color your entire eyelid. I use the white shimmery eyeshadow all the time, and just change around my eyeliner colors to play around. Then curl lashes (if you do) add some mascara and ur good ta go- One tip - if you decide to do the eyeliner in colors - don't get the $.99 one, go for a higher brand to ensure it works well and is easy to line. This makes my eyes look liquid type copper/gold in sunlight (as what one person commented)..

I see that most answers suggest using black eyeliner. Black can be very, very dark and ageing. I would suggest a dark brown instead and also not too thick a line, and more of a smudge on the lower bit.

Violet-toned colours supposedly bring out lighter bits of our irises. I think it looks silly on me, though. I wear a dark brown liner than rather than black, looks less harsh on slightly darker people like us. A tiny on the bottom (outer corners) s flattering, too. I never line the top lids fully, only from about where the iris starts nearest my nose.
