My natural colour is mousey but its died a bit darker brown. Now I want to go lighter, any suggestions because I want a natural looking colour.

Full head foils woven very thickly is a very natural look as makes the hair appear very multitonel! Using two different shades of blonde looks gorgeous! Plus the advantage of foils is your roots wont look terrible when its growing out as they grow at different levels!! If you used an all over colour within few weeks you'd see straight dark roots (which isn't a good look!!) Hope that gave u an idea hope all goes well!!

well if your hair color is dark then trying to dye it blonde will result in a redish blonde. To really get blonde hair you need to bleach it pretty much white, then dye it blonde. Not fun

1. Go to a pro, I tried to self-bleach and it was a disaster!

2. If your hair is brown, you will have to lighten it gradually.

3. Don't go too light, or else you risk looking too unnatural (Think Pam Anderson)

You can and dye eye brows too. But, in a few weeks your true color will show at the roots and it look fake.

you should try blonde highlights first , just to get an impression of how blonde looks on you . if you like it , you shouldn't dye your complete hair blond , you should stay with highlights . that makes it look more natural and not fake . good luck (=

Don't try to go all blond all at once. Go to a stylist, if you want to have alot of blond ask for a heavy weave on all of your hair except your Mohawk(this is the top of your head), if you part your hair on one side make sure the Mohawk is proportioned to the side you part on, ask them to do a fine slicing with the color and your natural on this section. If you can find a salon that uses Scruples Blazing(this is a high lifting system) much better for you hair than bleaching and the toning. its worth the searching salons for.

And if youre going to do it with dark hair, use the LIGHTEST bleach the store sells.

I tried going from brown to blond 4 times before it worked because I didnt use a light enough bleach.

Yes I would say it's possible but most dark people also have dark eyebrows so I would suggest going a lighter shade there too. But please get it done with a decent dye or it'll either come out green or you'll miss a bit which would look terrible!!

But on the contrary they said your hair colour is best suited to your face, so it's your descision! May be you could get wash in wash out one first so you're not stuck with it for ages if you hate it!
