do not die your hair black. I would go with highlights and if you are unsure maybe you should experiment with wash out dye to find the right color for you.

black is too harsh, nice blonde streaks lightly will look stunning, but make sure it isn't heavy, if you can get someone that knows what they are doing, it can look sunkissed. their are lots of stylist but i can't seem to get a decent haircut now that i left CA. you will look amazing if the right person does it.even red highlights.

Black is really trendy right now but if your very light complected it might be to much... id try maybe a dark red
