I'm planning to nbleach my hair soon andi was just wondering, any help appreciated, : ) thank you!
What kind of hair bleach would you need for medium to dark brown hair? i agree with the previous, it's not worth the possible outcome, but it's not the bleach you need to worry about... its the volume of poroxide, generally it would be a 30 volume, depending on the condition of your hair, but DO leave it for the professionals... it might be great the first time... but inevitably your results will become bleek, we are professionals for a reason. good luck!

What kind of hair bleach would you need for medium to dark brown hair? WHITE OUT BLEACH KIT FROM HOT TOPIC
What kind of hair bleach would you need for medium to dark brown hair? You need the kind applied by someone- a professional who knows what they are doing. Ya'll need to step away from the bleach. This is serious chemical work and can really cause a lot of damage. You need to know how dark you are, how light you want to be and choose the appropriate strength and formula. Which you are not going to find at Sally Beauty Supply. Then it has to applied properly, then toned with the correct formula of toner. Are you starting to see that this is a professional job? Your hair is so dark that you are going to be in the orange- red stage for a very long time. Save your self the tears- please. Find a salon you can afford or model for a bleaching class in a salon.
What kind of hair bleach would you need for medium to dark brown hair? it depends how you want the blonde in your hair, if you want strikes then you can buy a highlighting kit from most stores called Jerome Russel but if you want it all over your hair it would turn ginger/orange. the best thing you can do is to have strikes bit by bit. you cant just buy peroxide from anywhere if you know someone who has access to a warehouse that can buy one for you then you will be fine with either 30vol or 40vol peroxide but don't leave it on your hair no longer than 45Min's as bleach kills the cuticles in your hair and will make the hair break off. also when having bleach on your hair make sure you condition it alot because the hair goes really weak and dry. the best thing you could do is to go to a salon you then know you cant go wrong. I'm a hairdresser so i would advise you to go to a salon and get it done just to stay on the safe side.
i hope Ive helped
good luck xxx
What kind of hair bleach would you need for medium to dark brown hair? Hi well if your hair is naturally medium to dark brown hair then I would recommend to use Jerome Russels Bblonde for medium to dark brown hair as this has the 12% peroxide in to life dark hair, you dont want the one with 9% peroxide and leave it on for the who 90mins, but if your hair is coloured with previous colours to theh one you have on now, then I would recommend not touching it with any bleach until all the colour has grown out.
As if you try to bleach you my get a patchy result, resulting in some parts of the hair being bloonde, Orange, and some parts of the hair might not even change colour.
I wouldnt recommend going all blonde at once, why not add highlights with a Jerome Russel Highlight kit this way you automatically get everything you need in the box and it will work better if you highlight bits of the hair rather than it all then you can add more if you like to be blonde.
Its a big shock going from so dark to light so do it gradually not all at once, as you could risk damaging your hair like I did haveing to recolour over the mistakes I have made.
Just make sure that if it does work, then you must use a deep condioning mask once a week or everyother day, as your will fall out and break off.
If it doesnt work still do the same, but have a stand by hair dye in a brown so if it goes pathcy and orange you can dye over it with this dye so you dont have to go out with bright orange patchy hair. I once had to go to tesco in the moiddle of the night as I had left the bleach on for as long as I could but the colour still wouldnt change from orange to blonde so I went and got a dye and dyed over it.
But dont worry if it does look a little or very orange as you are having the bleach on your head, as this is the process it goes through. If after the 90mins the colour still hasnt gone from ginger to blonde, or it the ends are still dark, it means the bleach isnt going to work for you and no matter how much bleach you put on it wont work.
Just be careful as if your not doing highlights the bleach gets on your scalp and it burns so you might have a sore head for a few days. But you will be fine.
What kind of hair bleach would you need for medium to dark brown hair? Be ever so careful - I assume if you want bleach then you're aiming to go lighter/blonder...
Colouring dark brown hair is tricky if you want to go fairer; your hair is in danger of going orange.
If possible, have your hair coloured at a salon, at least for the first time. If you really are set on doing it yourself, check out some of the websites that offer good advice and make sure you get any of the pre-lightening products that the hair colours come with.
What kind of hair bleach would you need for medium to dark brown hair? the bleach is all the same its the peroxide level you need to look at, my hair is light -medium brown and i use 9% peroxide id say the 12% if your hair is dark otherwise itll go orangy, be careful though its really harsh on your hair !good luck why dont you do a strand test and snip abit of your hair before doing all of it
